Hello my friends,
my page has a new design now and I think its kinda funky! Comments are welcome, and if a very special lady would finally do zee proofreading, I would also get rid of all the funny spelling misstakes ;) Also some design fine tuning will be done in the near future...
In July and August I have been traveling around a lot, visiting friends and family, meditating and of course there are also some music news!
Mary Davis Jr. has played a very nice show in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam (there is more to come, check the concert dates), and we decided to record again in order to have a full album by the end of the year.
Further I could play some guitars on the new album of DJ ROMERO which will be relased in September. The album presentation gig will be 29 September in Paradiso Amsterdam. Exiting !

And finally the latest breaking news is that I am forming a rock band again! After years of (almost)Jazz-only it's time to rock... At this stage I am writing music with a drummer friend of mine, and if we can manage to find a singer the band will take off... so, if you know a good rock singer, or if you happen to be one, let me know!!!

Well my friends, it's done! I officially finished my music studies and real life can begin!
Oh my god, it feels so different ;-)
Besides that I am a new man now, a lot of nice things happend and there is more to come. 4am played a very nice gig in Nijmegen/NL featuring dutch saxophone player Benjamin Herman. See more pics here.>
The "3 Kings" will play in Bavaria/Germany at the end of the month, and I think this time we will dig more in the CHANGA style... I am very much looking forward to that!
Also Mary Davis Jr. is on the move and if luck is with us this band will be very busy soon! For now there are some gigs in the summer in Holland, and we keep on working on new tunes and on our website. For now check our myspace site and stay sharp for more news!
And then there will be the ultra killing Wicked Jazz Sounds 5th Birthday Party in PARADISO/Amsterdam on 16th of June. I am very happy that I belong to the Wicked Jazz Sounds family and I will perform that night together with them. Well, it's also about time I play Paradiso, I am here in A'dam for over a year now,... ts ts ts... ;-)

APRIL 2007
Finally, I have a date for my FINAL EXAM on the conservatory in Arnem. It will be 7th of june. I will play with 4am, and maybe some other project. So, be there or be square.
The last weeks have been very busy and a lot of cool stuff happend:
4am has finished their second demo CD which can be heard and ordered at our page www.jazzat4am.com.
Mary Davis Jr. has been in the studio too, and we will mix the songs soon (this month). We are very happy with the recordings and we are looking forward to finish it so that it can be heard :)

Hello! Welcome to 2007. Most of January I've been sick, so things have been delayed a bit. But I am back on track now and I have some nice news. I recently had a radio broadcast with a new project/band. Check us out on myspace: www.myspace.com/marydavisjr. There you can also see the video from the internet video stream they made.
End of january we played with Suna5 in Amersfoort, where we got 3rd place in the jazz competition last year. It was this time with Franz von Chossy on the piano and Sean Fasciani on bass, two very fine musicians to play with!
The music from 4am that we recorded end of November last year will be mixed and ready those days, so check back for those new tunes.
